Lucie Rie, Bowl, 1977

This Spring sees the opening of a major exhibition celebrating the work of one of my all time favourite potters and artists - Lucie Rie. She was a pioneer in the early and mid twentieth century in a very male dominated world, her work feels so contemporary and continues to inspire today. This exhibition at Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge will be well worth a pilgrimage to see over 100 works including bowls, vases, buttons and tableware.
